Behind the work

A trusted illustrator, backed by the Association of Illustrators

When you hire an illustrator, you are looking for more than creative ability. You want assurance: that the person understands their craft, knows the industry, and can be relied on. My membership of the Association of Illustrators is one small but meaningful signal of that.

What the AOI is

The Association of Illustrators exists to support illustrators and animators at every stage of their career. It connects creatives with clients, helps with contracts, and promotes their work. Being a member signals professionalism and a commitment to doing this properly, for the long term.

What it means for you

If you are the one doing the hiring, membership answers the questions that really matter. Does this person understand the business side of illustration? Can they handle a contract fairly? Will communication be clear and deliverables met? Membership shows I take all of that seriously.

Why should this matter to me? Because you need to know you're in safe hands.

Ultimately, hiring an illustrator comes down to trust. The AOI is one way of showing that I take my work seriously, and that I care about a smooth, professional collaboration from start to finish.

Got an idea that deserves to be seen? Let's make it stick.
